Market Background

As Australia’s outdoor fishing market continues to grow, more fishing apparel brands are looking for performance products that combine UV protection, lightweight comfort, and environmentally responsible materials.

At the same time, retailers are becoming more cautious when selecting OEM sportswear manufacturers. Beyond pricing, buyers now focus heavily on:

· Bulk production consistency

· Fabric performance

· Delivery reliability

· Sustainable materials

· Professional communication

For fishing apparel brands preparing for seasonal sales, production delays or quality inconsistency can directly affect retail timelines and customer trust.

Client Background & Challenge

The client was a mid-sized Australian fishing apparel brand focused on offshore fishing wear and coastal retail distribution.

The company planned to launch a new eco-performance fishing shirt collection before the summer fishing season and required:

· 5,000 custom sublimation fishing shirts

· UPF50+ sun protection

· Recycled performance fabric

· Lightweight and breathable construction

· Fast delivery within one month

· Stable bulk color consistency

However, the buyer had previously experienced serious production issues with another supplier.

Although the approved sample looked excellent, the final bulk production showed visible color inconsistency, especially across blue ocean-inspired gradient designs commonly used in Australian fishing apparel.

Because of this, the customer was highly concerned about color matching and production control before confirming the new order.

Our Solution

To reduce production risk and improve consistency, the ADAS Sportswear team implemented a complete pre-production control system before bulk manufacturing started.

Fabric Solution

We recommended a high-performance recycled bird eye fabric specifically developed for outdoor fishing applications.

Technical Specifications

Technical Parameter Specification

The recycled polyester material was produced from recycled PET sources, helping the customer strengthen its eco-friendly product positioning in the Australian market.

Production Control Process

To ensure bulk production consistency, our team completed several critical control procedures before and during manufacturing:

· Pantone color calibration

· Pre-production sublimation testing

· Fabric shrinkage testing

· Heat transfer temperature control

· Bulk print consistency inspections

· Final QC measurement checks

In addition, our production department arranged parallel workflow scheduling to help meet the customer’s tight 30-day delivery timeline.

Throughout the project, the client received regular production updates, including sample confirmation photos, printing checks, and QC inspection reports.

Customer Feedback

After receiving the shipment, the customer was especially satisfied with:

· Stable sublimation color consistency

· Comfortable performance in hot outdoor conditions

· Lightweight and breathable fabric feel

· Smooth communication during production

· Reliable delivery timing

Most importantly, the client confirmed that the bulk production closely matched the approved samples, which had been the biggest concern at the beginning of the project.

Following this order, the customer moved forward with repeat development discussions for additional fishing hoodies and long-sleeve UV protection apparel.

Conclusion

For fishing apparel brands, successful OEM manufacturing is not only about producing attractive designs. It also depends on:

· Fabric performance

· Bulk production consistency

· Technical production control

· Reliable communication

· Stable delivery management

At ADAS Sportswear, we help global fishing apparel brands reduce production risks through professional manufacturing systems, technical fabric expertise, and consistent bulk production management.

If you are looking for a reliable custom fishing apparel manufacturer for:

· UPF50+ fishing shirts

· Sublimation fishing jerseys

· Recycled performance sportswear

· Offshore fishing apparel OEM projects

our team is ready to support your next collection.
